Our client, a leading financial services firm, is embarking on a major architectural transformation within their Risk and Finance IT department. This is your chance to lead the charge!

In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring their IT architecture is meticulously documented, clearly visualized, and readily accessible.

 

Here’s what awaits you:

  • Document Whisperer: You’ll establish and maintain a centralized document repository, ensuring all architectural artifacts are organized, up-to-date, and easily retrievable.
  • Data Register Guru: Develop and manage a comprehensive data register, meticulously cataloging critical data elements and upholding data governance standards.
  • Visual Storyteller: Craft high-quality architectural diagrams that effectively communicate complex system designs and data flows to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Standardization Champion: Create and implement standardized documentation templates, streamlining the documentation process and fostering consistency across all architectural components.
  • Review Rockstar: Assist in architectural reviews by providing detailed documentation and diagrams, facilitating the identification and resolution of architectural gaps.
  • Collaborative Bridge: Foster open communication with IT teams and business units, gathering valuable feedback to ensure all documentation and diagrams are accurate and meet user needs.

 

To excel in this role, you’ll possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in an architectural role, with a strong focus on documentation and diagramming.
  • Mastery of Diagramming Tools: Skilled in using industry-standard tools to create clear and informative architectural diagrams.
  • Documentation Expertise: Possess a strong ability to create, organize, and maintain extensive technical documentation within a central repository.
  • Eagle Eye for Detail: Exceptional attention to detail is crucial, as you’ll be documenting complex IT architectures and data registries.
  • Project Management Savvy: Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively within an agile project framework.
  • Collaboration is Key: Strong interpersonal skills are essential for working effectively with diverse technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical Aptitude: Possess good analytical skills to understand complex systems and accurately document their architectures.
