We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Development Lead with a strong technological mindset and experience leading/managing development teams. This role offers a C# specialist the opportunity to lead, mentor, and drive the development team while also creating, integrating, maintaining, and customizing business platform applications that support both internal and client requirements.
The projects you will be involved in cover the full software development life cycle, including architecture, new development, enhancements, and system integration. You will play a key role in defining best practices, improving processes, and ensuring technical excellence within the team.

You will meet the following requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, IT, Commerce, or Computer Science
- Proven experience in a Development Lead role, including mentoring and managing developers
- Experience in financial services, investments, or insurance is highly preferred
- Strong expertise in C# MVC, .NET Core, and Microsoft Visual Studio
- MS SQL Server (Queries and Stored Procedures)
- Exposure to Azure functions and storage
- At least 5+ years’ experience as a senior software developer (ideally C#) with a track record of leading development teams
- Knowledge of additional coding languages (PHP, JavaScript) is advantageous
- Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and coding best practices
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and stakeholder management experience
- Location: Cape Town, South Africa
- Duration: Permanent (preference given to those who can start ASAP)
