Our client, a forward-thinking, high-growth company, is looking for a Junior Financial Accountant to join their Cape Town-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a strong foundation in finance while contributing to tech-enabled process improvements and meaningful financial insights.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing daily cash and investment processes
- Handling vendor onboarding and accounts payable
- Producing IFRS-compliant monthly trial balances and reconciliations
- Preparing VAT returns and assisting with annual financial statements
- Supporting management reporting and budget variance analysis
- Contributing to automation, payroll, and B-BBEE processes
- Ensuring internal controls and compliance across all financial processes
What We’re Looking For:
✅ CA(SA) or eligible to register
✅ Strong Excel and tech skills (essential)
✅ Financial services experience preferred
✅ Articles/audit experience advantageous
✅ Passion for automation, AI, and efficiency
✅ Detail-oriented, analytical, and adaptable
