We are urgently seeking a passionate and experienced Internal Audit professional for a fixed-term assignment. This role is ideal for someone with strong audit capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to execute focused, risk-based reviews in line with internal audit mandates, company policies, and IIA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute internal audit assignments in accordance with the approved internal audit plan
- Ensure compliance with IIA standards and internal audit methodology
- Conduct comprehensive risk-based audits and identify control gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Deliver high-quality audit reports and recommendations to senior management
Minimum Requirements:
- B.Com Honours degree in Accounting or Auditing (essential)
- CA(SA) and/or CIA qualification (preferred)
- Minimum 7+ years of internal audit experience
- Completed articles, with 3 – 4 years audit experience gained during this period
- Solid knowledge of IIA Standards and internal audit methodologies
- Familiarity with corporate governance frameworks and risk management processes
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Prior audit experience in Financial Services and/or Mining sectors
- Experience auditing listed entities will be a distinct advantage
