Embark on an exciting journey with a global manufacturing firm as we seek an experienced Human Resources professional to take on a dynamic Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) role. This position is an opportunity to work closely with both management and employees on the front lines, providing hands-on and strategic input, insight, and advice on various people-related issues such as talent management, employee relations, development, compensation, conflict management, and training. In this role, you will play a crucial part in aligning the company’s people strategy with its overall business strategy.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Degree in Human Resources Management and/or equivalent. (non negotiable)
  • Honors or Masters Degree in HR/Industrial Psychology highly preferable.
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience as an HR generalist or specialist, with at least 3-4 years in an HR management/senior HRBP role.
  • Prior experience working for a large (preferably international) organization with a headcount of 600+.
  • Significant experience in Compensation/Rewards & Benefits (non-negotiable).
  • Sound knowledge of developing and implementing HR Policies, Systems, and Procedures.
  • Up-to-date understanding of all labor legislation, especially the LRA, and a thorough grasp of the principles and current strategic issues in the field of HR.
  • Strong experience advising on HR issues, including employee labor relations and BEE policy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in English and at least one other South African language.
  • Skilled in MS Excel (intermediate to advanced).
  • Fluency in both English and Afrikaans (non-negotiable).
