What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in financial management within the energy, petrochemical, mining, or heavy manufacturing sectors.   • Solid expertise in working across multiple jurisdictions and currencies (highly advantageous)
  • Proficiency in Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems (preferred)
  • Exceptional MS Excel skills and an eye for detail
  • High levels of accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities

 

Your role will include:

  • Leading and reviewing all accounting processes, applying financial standards, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Managing monthly workbooks, management accounts, and reconciliations prepared by your team.
  • Overseeing internal and external audit processes and ensuring timely resolution of queries.
  • Collaborating with your team to prepare and interpret budgets, financial statements, and reports across various jurisdictions.
  • Providing critical financial insights to stakeholders by analyzing monthly and quarterly figures.
  • Supporting the Financial Controller with annual budgets and forecasting processes.
  • Managing debt funding disbursements, lender reporting, and other project finance requirements.
  • Handling cash management, payments (including construction-related payments), and lender repayments.
  • Contributing to M&A initiatives through investment reporting and due diligence.
