To Qualify:

  • You are a qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 1-2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • You possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are non-negotiable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is a must.
  • Experience working within the energy sector (or Petrochemical / Mining).
  • Knowledge of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, such as Oracle Fusion.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Contribute to the entire financial accounting cycle, working alongside experienced professionals.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage the monthly closing process, performing reconciliations and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Gain experience with tax preparation, including indirect and corporate income tax returns.
  • Contribute to financial reporting at a group level.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies.
  • Where required, M&A support regarding investment reporting and due diligence
