We are looking for a driven and experienced Channel Account Manager to join our team in Johannesburg. In this exciting role, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth for a leading ICT business by acquiring new partners and fostering strong relationships with existing ones.

About the Role:

  • Partner with the sales team to identify and develop new channel opportunities in the telecommunications and ICT industry.
  • Build and manage a network of channel partners, maximizing product sales within their customer base.
  • Develop and implement strategies to recruit new partners and expand the reach of the business.
  • Develop strong relationships with key channel accounts, driving revenue through new sales and strategic planning.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to channel partners, empowering them to effectively sell the business’ solutions.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle for assigned accounts, from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and proactively addressing any concerns.
  • Gather and report customer feedback to continuously improve product offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless sales execution and efficient resolution of client escalations.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • At least 6 years of experience in direct and indirect channel sales or channel account management within the telecommunications/ICT industry
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Customer-centric approach with a commitment to exceeding expectations
