We are looking for a driven and experienced Channel Account Manager to join our team in Johannesburg. In this exciting role, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth for a leading ICT business by acquiring new partners and fostering strong relationships with existing ones.
About the Role:
- Partner with the sales team to identify and develop new channel opportunities in the telecommunications and ICT industry.
- Build and manage a network of channel partners, maximizing product sales within their customer base.
- Develop and implement strategies to recruit new partners and expand the reach of the business.
- Develop strong relationships with key channel accounts, driving revenue through new sales and strategic planning.
- Provide ongoing support and training to channel partners, empowering them to effectively sell the business’ solutions.
- Manage the entire sales cycle for assigned accounts, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and proactively addressing any concerns.
- Gather and report customer feedback to continuously improve product offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless sales execution and efficient resolution of client escalations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- At least 6 years of experience in direct and indirect channel sales or channel account management within the telecommunications/ICT industry
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer-centric approach with a commitment to exceeding expectations
