In this role you will be tasked with actively hunting for new accounts and generating new business revenue, building a strong portfolio of prospects nationwide, as well as driving revenue growth and new sales for office automation related solutions.

The ideal candidate will meet the following Minimum requirements:

  • A Degree / Diploma in Business Management, Sales or Marketing is essential
  • At least 3 – 4 years of experience in office automation / technology industry or related sectors (non negotiable)
  • 5+ years experience in a similar Sales / Business Development Lead or Manager role (hunting for new business and managing existing accounts)
  • Excellent knowledge of the industry, including operators in the value chain, and the key players and competitors
  • Ability to identify opportunities, interpret market structures, and to synthesize information into a meaningful customer value proposition
  • Detailed knowledge of broadband technologies
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience
  • Must be very computer literate

 

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide leadership to the business development function and analytical support to the business development activities
  • Ensuring that the Channel targets and expectations are understood, managed and reported on regularly.
  • Being accountable for both the strategic and operational responsibility for the product
  • Driving product’s success in the local market
  • Implementing and driving strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Developing an annual marketing and sales plan for the product/product range
  • Conducting on-going business development initiatives with existing and potential customers
  • Responsible for all new product launches
  • Conducting a comprehensive market review to assess the present and future market viability for the product/product range
  • Preparing reports on a quarterly basis on the performance of the product/product range which will include margin review on both equipment and consumables where applicable (reports will form part of the quarterly board pack submission)
  • Maintaining up to date customer satisfaction reports and take necessary steps to ensure high level of on-going “after sales service and satisfaction”
  • Collaborating with marketing team to devise marketing plans and on-going execution
  • Collaborating with technical team
  • Maintain effective networks, enhance relationships
